Ashley McCormick showed off her Shootsac in her blog post about a recent wedding she shot. Her assistant nabbed this great shot of Ashley with her Shootsac and 2008 Signature Cover. I love this meta-look at what both photographers saw through their lenses!
Ashley says about her Shootsac: "I absolutely LOVE my bag and all of its covers, I can't believe that I went so long without one! I was recently photographing a wedding when my assistant (Heidi Mitchell, who ALSO uses Shootsac) took this photo of me working. It was my first time using the Special Edition Jessica Birthday cover! *I love it, and so does everyone else, I get so many compliments on this one!*

Shootsac was proud to sponsor the Get Simple Seminar at KISS Wedding Books in Fullerton, CA with Kevin Swan, Shawn Austin and Mike Larson. Shootsac's own Vu Bui was there to give a demonstration of the Shootsac and conduct a giveaway to two lucky attendees who each won a Shootsac plus a cover.
The seminar, which sold out in an amazing 120 seconds after being announced, covered various creative topics. Kevin spoke about creating and selling knock-out wedding albums and Mike talked about how to book and manage clients. The day ended with an awesome live shoot outside the studio with Mike Larson.

... is through cupcakes! We love cupcakes and we love Erin! Last time she found us some flamingos, this time she found a cupcake that matches our "Festive" cover perfectly! These photos came from a trash the dress session that she did recently. One of their locations was a cupcake shop with and the bride had pink & green cupcakes made for the shoot (those were her colors). Fantastic, thanks again Erin!

Ahh.... October. What a lovely time of year! The signs of fall are really rolling in: the leaves are starting to change color, that cool autumn breeze is whistling through the branches, and the pumpkin patch down the street is setting up for business! All of this paints a perfect fall portrait... except that it was over 90 degrees here in Southern California today! But I digress... on with the important news! :)
