SCARLETT LILLIAN, ever trendy, shows off her sac for you today! Scarlett is a fab photographer out of Jacksonville, Florida, and her fashionable bright style makes her an ideal shootsac customer (and probably super fun to work with!). Here's what Scarlett says:
When I first started photography, I scoured the internet for a cute fashionable camera bag. I was bummed to not be able to find anything girly-friendly. Then recently, I was thrilled to hear that one of my favorite photographers, Jessica Claire, was coming out with her own fashionista camera bag called the ShootSac. In May at Partnercon, I had the pleasure of meeting Jessica and being one of the first to order my new ever so cute shooting partner. I just recently got it in the mail and was excited to use it for the first time at the wedding this past weekend... and I have to say, I LOVE IT! It was the perfect lightweight companion to help me float around the day with all my essential lenses, memory cards, keys, sunglasses and business cards. And with the protection of the inside fabric and compartments, it was sooo stress relieving just being able to whip out the lenses I needed without having to constantly put the lens cap back on and off. No more needing to carry around my heavy camera bag on my back all day. That stayed in a corner near by while the ShootSac and I walked around getting our rockstar shots.
I got so many compliments throughout the day, and being able to relate about fashion, it was a perfect ice breaker for up and coming brides at the wedding. The groomsman even loved it so much that they wanted to help me show it off! With so many patterns to choose from, the Shootsac is every fashionista photographer's dream! Next month, I have new branding coming out, and my Shootsac matches perfectly with all that is about to be unveiled!
Check ot the photos of her wearing the bag:
It really doesn't get much better than this:
I love how the bag stays close to her hip even in precarious situations:
I stole some of Scarletts work to show you:

Do you FLICKR? Do you know what FLICKR is? I recently found out that we have our very own shootsac group on flickr! I originally thought that it was a place for anyone with a camera to post photos for others to view, but I see that it is more than that! Anyway, if you flickr, or even if you don't, you should go sign up to be a member of the flickr shootsac group! You can post photos, trade covers with others, and chit chat all in one place!
We have restocked covers we sold out of since last night including Baroque, Drama Queen, Lavish, Fling, and several others. I can't believe how many of you stayed up late to order as soon as the site went live--it has been so exciting for me today to see the orders come in, and I can't wait until you start sending me photos of you with your new bags and covers!
Check out this video from David Jay featuring his kick ass photography and hot lens bag accessory! By the way, lots of people have asked how I do the slideshows on my other blog and the answer is that I use DJ's slideshow software called Showit Fast. **CLICK HERE TO GET SHOWIT**. You should get it, it is awesome!

THE SHOOTSAC SITE IS ALIVE!! Check out our NEW COMMERCIAL BELOW!!
What people have to say about SHOOTSAC:
Garrett and Joy Nudd say:
"When we're out shooting, it's really challenging to carry a normal camera bag with extra lenses, batteries, CF cards, bottled water, etc. So Jessica created ShootSac, a super-cool over-the-shoulder messenger bag that holds everything a photographer could ever need, and then some!"
Look at their adorable daughter Graycen, the youngest shootsac user we have!
Giovannia says: "The Shootsac is wonderful. The construction is awesome. I have to give Jessica mega points for the idea of the wetsuit material. It dries very quickly if wet and keeps averything in close proximity.
I have 2 Lowepro backpacks that I have used for the past 3 years. They are wonderful for travel and I have taken them all over Europe. My only complaint during the day with the Lowepro was whenever I wanted to change lenses, put in a fresh battery, new CF card....down comes the backpack, place it on the ground or some other flat surface and change out my things. They are wonderful bags, but if you are going to be in one spot for a few days working on an assignment or touring around, it can be a lot to lug around.
On my trip starting Saturday we go to Ireland, England and Scotland. I am taking the Lowepro bag on the plane (packed it weighs about 35 lbs.). The Shootsac will be in my suitcase, ready to go when we land."
Kathy McCloy says: "Not sure if this qualifies in the "hacks" category, but let me tell you about my life with the shootsac the past couple of days. Let me start out by saying I have used it during a couple of sessions and totally love it for it's intended purpose. But.... Thursday I flew to New York with my 18 month old son and since we were only coming for a couple of days, I didn't want to pack all my gear. In my shootsac I had the following...
Checkbook
Treo
Small wallet
Speedlite
50mm 1.4
70-200 2.8
30D + battery grip (with no lens attached)
Pacifier
Small stuffed monkey
Bottle of water
I know that the bag isn't made for actually "hauling" your gear, but for me the convenience of the light weight small bag was too much to pass up on a flight with a baby. It worked wonderfully. I am guilty of traveling with my camera rolled up in a towel in my HUGE purse and am always super hard on my equipment. The shootsac kept it all safe and secure. The pockets are so deep on the back that I had plenty of room for personal items and could access them easily with one hand (while toting my kid around). I know one thing, if I ever decide to quit and sell all my gear, I would keep the shootsac as a diaper bag! I can't say enough good things about it. If you don't have one yet, you're missing out."
Brigitte Grenfeldt says: "It works! Still suffering of jetlag, I shot my first wedding with "The Sac" yesterday and I can tell you all it was so much more fun! I live in Stockholm, Sweden, and have been addicted to Jessicas website and blog since I don't know when... As soon as I read about the shootsac I knew it was the perfect bag for me. The only problem seemed how to get it. So I booked a ticket to NYC, asked Tony and Keats (thank you guys!) to help me and during my stay in NYC they sent the bag with 2 different covers to my hotel. So, to all of you who wonder if Jessica can send a bag to another country - go and get it! You all need to get away in between and you will be a much happier photographer when you return - even when suffering of jetlag..."
Lasadh says: "I took the SHOOTSAC out to Coney Island today, and it performed perfectly! It went on the beach, up and down the boardwalk, on the Cyclone (which I had never ridden before and it was far more fast and furious than it looks!), and handled bumps and jostling from the crowds nicely. I'm very pleased!"
I wanted to show you all one of my favorite new covers that will be available in just a few days! It's called "Well Rounded" and is in honor of my friend Marisa. I chose it because the pattern and colors look like her brand and logo!

The ugliest bag I have ever seen belongs to Calvin Tamas of Canada, the winner of the shootsac ugly bag giveaway! Here at the Shootsac offices, we were ready to weep for Calvin's bag and the sad sad face. Calvin, hopefully your shootsac will be a nice upgrade for you, congratulations!
Calvin's bag:
It was so hard to pick a winner because so many of you have such hideous bags! Check out some of these:
I know I told you that today I would post images of the new covers, but I didn't have a chance to shoot them just yet as I am currently out in Las Vegas for a couple of days! So instead, for now, I bring you a new featured Shootsac user, Jasmine Star, also known as Blu's Photographer of the Year!
If you haven't heard of Jasmine, you must have been living under a rock because this girl has got it going on, the "IT" girl of the moment for sure! Not only is she a great photographer who has worked with the best in the business such as Becker, Mike Colon, and David Jay, but she's got a personality and kindness that is impossible not to fall in love with immediately. She's a good person to know, and someone as stylish as Jasmine certainly wouldn't be carrying anything other than her shootsac.
Check out this photo to see some of what Jasmine likes to carry in her sac (the camera + lens does NOT go in the sac, it's carried while she's shooting & swapped for other lenses. Either will fit in the sac when separated):
And a few photos of her shooting with the bag and some resulting images:
And here are few of Jasmine's other photos that I love:
